Winter Solstice 2020
Half the battle is the ascent,
You must also descend,
So take a moment to pause.

Every tunnel has a light at the end, Every journey starts with a single step, Every mountain can be climbed, Every fjord can be crossed.
Every snowflake is unique. A diversity worth celebrating and encouraging. Together they appear as one with more that binds them then separates them.
There must always be winter. There must always be night. This is life. This is the seasons that mark our lives and our world.
The path we take is strange. Sometimes it seems the only constant is change. But change is not change and the more things change the more they stay the same. For there are four seasons: spring, summer, fall, and winter.
Time to say goodbye. Sometimes we rush to say goodbye, other times we savour the moment. But the day has come and we must move on. Renewed and strengthened, we start afresh.
Moments of transition. Light fading in out, like a strobe, getting darker. Just like the shorter days. Like a gradient, our lives have transition. Focus. Don’t get lost in the strobes. The frequency is increasing.
Tonight is the darkest and longest night of all nights in the Northern Hemisphere. So we all are celebrating.
Today is day to look the future, to forget the past, to forget our failures, to push forward.
